Winter wears it's ragged coat

snow melting then falls again

 

 

February's Snow moon will be full on Wednesday, February 12 and 8:53 AM.

 . 

February is a month with with frequent snows,it must have been, as it is now the month when winter had over stayed it's welcome. The old oaken keg was nearing empty, the wood pile dwindled, and the dried meat was getting even more rancid. Weather was predicted using using observations of the plants and animals. Thought the sun's warmth is obvious, so are the accumulations of ice and snow.
