Tis Upon All Souls’ Day
Let us remember our loved ones who no longer walk with us in this lifetime. Why, today is All Souls’ Day, A day they come home, A day our ancestors return to walk upon the ground that they once called home.
It’s a day to remember them and bless them all. Blessed be, all loving, old souls. We shall honour them today, we shall remember them today, for, May they never be forgotten.
As we listen
So we learn
Why, all the wisdom
From days gone by
Dare not
Be forgot
For, our ancestors voices
May still be heard
Their echoes linger on
Upon the very ground
That we walk
So as we go
Along our life’s path
We must
Remember them
For, they are we
And we are them
If ye put a little candle upon your window sill tonight, let its light be bright, let it shine out so the old souls can see and may it guide them home, to us once more.
Some may lay out an extra plate of food tonight, or a wee sip of dram, so a lost one may return to feast once more. Let’s celebrate them all and raise a glass tonight.

I just came across this artist on Instagram. All of her work is magical. I thought you fairies might want to look too.
