the 4th of July

 Years ago I bought a 1$ box of stuff at an auction.  There were several cookbooks in it,  written on  a blank page meant for recipes, was this.  I added the picture,  it reminded me of the auction house.

cap guns,  Pharaoh's snakes,

and read white and blue cakes

 

 lite a firecracker in a tin can

make all the noise you possibly can

 

going to a parade

barbecue and lemonade

 

 

bunting and flags everywhere

excitement in the air

 

Music from a marching band

little kids with flags in their hands

 

I wish my dad was here with me

but he is fighting over the sea
