This is probably not the best time of the year for eggs since  chickens prefer 12 to16 hours of daylight, and their bodies must work harder to stay warm.   Also the chickens who are forced to lay eggs year round a not usually as healthy as those who get a winter vacation.

Sooooo, was thinking, perhaps some extra special egg recipes, might be just the thing for those extra special eggs from the framer's hens.
