Other names include The Brewer's Moon, the Pear Moon, Wode Moon, for the wode plant from which blue dyestuff came is ready to harvest, and the Wort Moon, wort meaning more or "herbal". Minty"s Moon, a minty being someone who knew how to gather and use herbs, some of which were gathered by the light or the dark of the moon.
