May's full flower moon!!!
Daffodil and delicate white jonquil's bloom in unbridled abandon in the place they were planted over 100 years ago.  When the first  deep green foliage breaks thru the ground I know that Spring is not far away.
The full flower moon will reach peak illumination at 12:56 p.m. on May 12, 2025, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac. The moon will also appear bright and full on Sunday (May 11) and Tuesday (May 13).
The “flower moon” name has been attributed to the Algonquin people.`~~~~Farmers Almanac

Winter hung on for as long as it could, then the buds began to swell, then leaf out, now there are blossoms on out ancient apple tree. Violets, dog violets and some I don't know the names of have burst into flower. Change and growth are a part, a large part of the messages the Full Flower Moon spreads, change is afoot, new ideas, renewal and repair. Some might say it is a good time to rid your life of that which you no longer want or have a use for. Spring cleaning, townwide clean-up activities, YES, that can be liberating. After one has stared at something you wish you had disposed of last year all this too long winter, hauling unusable items to the dump could be just the thing.
"Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without."
To this venerable saying I would add repurpose, repair, recycle or find someone who can use it, if said item still has some use left in it.
