Oscar , Grundgetta and me rambling along

 Sesame Street, what an interesting place!!!.

Who is your favorite character?  Mine is Grundgetta, she is alot like me, and Oscar is alot like my hubby of almost 45 years.  Oscar and Grundgetta onced discussed marriage plans, but decided against it.  Only one of the great many real life themes over the decades.   Some rather sensitive threads,  presented by  muppets and their, human neighbors have made a difference, passed on solid new ideas and thoughts.

I know very few people who don't watch Sesame Street at least occasionally.  At first is seemed surprising that so many of them were adults/grown-ups.  Thinking it over they were not only grown ups they were the most grown up type of adults/grown ups, at keast I think they are.

  Oscar the Grouch definitely has a unique charm! His grumpy yet lovable personality can be quite memorable, especially for young children. It’s interesting how characters like Oscar can evoke such strong reactions, from fascination to a bit of fear. a haiku inspired by Oscar the Grouch!

Here’s a quick one to get us started:

Grumpy in his can,
Trash becomes his treasure trove,
Heart of gold within.

 Recently I learned that after 55 years production of Sesame Street will most likely cease for, it seems  more than a bit iffy jiffy  that new episodes will be produced.  {Heavy . heavy sigh!}

Grundgetta, who is the perfect example of stylish "faded glory"  together Grundgetta and Oscar, like the other  members of the cast have done some serious educating.
