Thought this was a great idea for kids, then I realized it is a great idea for kids of all ages. This year promises to be chilly to outright freezing weather for Easter weekend. Nothing warms up a big old house, or any house, like baking goodies.

If one is not decorating those terribly pricey grocery store eggs this year, perhaps sweetly decorated cupcakes could be a fun alternative, even for the adults and "near adults" in the family, who will not be flying kites out in the field this Easter Sunday.
