Saturday, February 24th 2024, the full Snow moon , which is a micromoon which will be 252,225 miles from the earth, at it's greatest distance from the earth, or 'apogee'. Best viewing will be on the night before and Saturday evening, when the Snow moon will linger near the eastern horizon at sunset, where it will appear larger than normal {an optical illusion called Moon illusion}. Then climb to it's highest point in the sky near midnight.
