Sometimes I get accused of being to optimistic....no seriously I do.
Sorta tells you something don't it? So very long ago there was a story, perhaps it was in "Mad Magazine" or on"Twilight Zone" wish I could remember it better, but here goes, a Man invented a way to travel into the future, or at least he thought so. When he got where he thought he was going, he discovered that the future hadn't happened yet. And he was not only stuck there waiting for time to catch up to him, but he was also all alone in a void. Something that really shouldn't have surprised even a kid, let alone an inventor. Anyway.
A long time friend sent this to me. And yeah it sums up how I feel pretty well, a new year, a new decade, who knows what all will happen, let it be a challenge and/or an adventure. It's a leap of faith, a leap of hope, a leap of trusting in yourself and others. Not that everything is good and prefect, no that only happens on the Hallmark Channel. It might be prudent to undertake such a leap with some amount of fear and trepidation, consider this before one leaps.
Whether you leap into the future or get swept along into it, gentle readers. All good wishes for the shinny new year ahead.
