So as it goes round the table as each person states what they are grateful for, their family, their health, their wealth, all of which are good things to be grateful for. I don't think we spend enough time thinking of what we are grateful for , but then that is just me thinking. Not that I want to turn thinking what I am grateful for into a chore, it is good to reflect on what one is grateful for, and that there should be a dash of Thanksgiving in every day. So perhaps I am talking about an acknowledgement or if you prefer a ritual one composes for oneself, just to celebrate the good things in your life, and help you get past the bad.
Why is it that we only have one appointed day to celebrate thankfulness? Could it be that it is just the official day to be thankful and the rest is up to us? I dunno.
Hope yours was a good one.
