Catching the light

The snow was swirling it was like being in a snow globe. A pretty storm, with strong wind and splashes of sunlight. The sky was sometimes gray, and then sometimes blue, and filled with billowing clouds that the sun would hide behind and then emerge to cast long shadows over the brilliant snow.
I dashed out with my camera, trying to capture the beautiful play of light, shadow and swirling snow.

Trying is the important word here.
